My name is Lanni,

I am a board-certified speech-language pathologist with more than 12 years of experience supporting children and their families. I earned my bachelor’s degree from McDaniel College then went on to complete my master’s in Communication Disorders at the University of Virginia.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from infancy through young adulthood in outpatient clinics across Arizona, California, and Virginia. I enjoy working with a diverse caseload with a variety of communication strengths and diagnoses.

Clinically, I have experience supporting communication needs including Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency differences, language disorders, selective mutism, and social language differences, as well as supporting children who use AAC. I prioritize neurodiversity-affirming practices, child-led learning and have been Hanen-certified as an It Takes Two to Talk® provider. I am in the process of completing the Meaningful Speech training for gestalt language processing.

I’m a new mom of an amazing little girl who has brought me unimaginable joy and has given me a deeper appreciation for the experiences of the families I work with. When I’m not at work, I love spending time outside, at the beach and with my family!
