My name is Ellie,

I am a board certified speech-language pathologist. I graduated from James Madison University in 2021 and received my master’s from Arizona State University in 2023! After living in sunny (and extremely hot) Arizona for graduate school, I decided to move back to my hometown of Virginia Beach to be near family. 

Since then, I provided speech-language therapy at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters where I gained experience evaluating and treating articulation, expressive and receptive language, social-pragmatic language, fluency, and implementing alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Additionally, I have experience assessing and treating voice disorders in both adult and pediatric populations.  I am dedicated to providing neurodiversity affirming care and establishing a strong, supportive relationship with each child and their family. 

During my free time, you will find me at the beach reading a book, working on a jigsaw puzzle, or going on a walk around the neighborhood with my husband and our Yorkie, Tosh!
